Experience the Sounds of the Super JD-990 & SR-JV80: 04 & 08, MKS-20 and more on your INTEGRA-7!
We here at Wise Sound were dissatisfied with Roland’s own offerings in the INTEGRA-7.
While having the entirety of the XV-5080 embedded into the INTEGRA-7, we felt that it was severely underutilized within Roland’s Axial sound offerings.
Therefore, we have re-created select JD-990 Electric Pianos as well as select
SR-JV80: 04 & 08 Expansion Board Presets & More within the INTEGRA-7!
Included are classic JD-800/990 Electric Pianos such as the coveted Crystal Rhodes,
LA MIDI’ed Grand and more.
Recently added are MKS-20/P-330-ish Pianos within Piano 1, 2 & 3!
The SRX-07 Expansion this sound set utilizes also houses MKS-20 Style Waveforms.
So we applied them to a voice and here we are!
In addition to select SR-JV80: 04 & 08 Expansion Board Presets that are not present within the SRX 07 Expansion Board, also included are custom Leads, Pads, Rhodes
and even special Synth Wave Presets!
How We Did It:
We used quite a complex setup to get these patches converted.
We do not own a physical XV-5080 so we had to think outside of the box.
To hand convert all of these patches, we used Roland’s Cloud Version of the XV-5080 VST
as well as the SRX Keyboards VST.
The XV-5080 features all of the JD-990 waveforms, but what about the inclusion of the
SR-JV80: 04 & 08 Patches? Well, all of the SR-JV80-04/08 waveforms are present within
the SRX-07 Ultimate Keys Expansion Board. It’s just that some beloved Presets didn’t make it over to the SRX 07 when Roland updated the old SR-JV80: 04 and 08 Presets to work in the SRX-07.
We know that ALL of the SRX Expansion Boards are within the INTEGRA-7, so all it took was discovering that Roland included ALL of the original Presets from the SR-JV80-04/08 re-worked for the SRX-07 within the CD-ROM included when you purchase the SRX-07 Ultimate Keys Expansion Board. So that way users had the best of both worlds. The SRX-07’s Presets plus all of the SR-JV80-04/08 Presets re-worked to use the SRX-07’s included SR-JV80-04/08 waveforms!
So instead of loading these Patches into a regular XV-5080, we loaded them into the 5080 VST and SRX Keyboards VST to be able to convert these to the INTEGRA-7!
