Formally VGSG Music, now Wise Sound has been serving Church Musicians with Virtual Instruments across multiple platforms since 2015.

I develop and sell Virtual Instruments for the Kontakt sampler,
as well as the Yamaha MOTIF Series, iOS and more!

Purpose & Mission:

I, Daryl Wise Jr - Owner and Founder of Wise Sound, starting playing in church in a small town called
Triadelphia, WV as a keyboard player in 2014.

Unable to afford Yamaha & Roland’s latest Workstation Synthesizer offerings, I turned to a mid-tier Windows Laptop Computer and a cheap M-Audio MIDI Controller. It was with this I learned about “VST” technology, as known as Virtual Instruments. The leading platform for Virtual Instruments is Native Instruments’ Kontakt, and with it I found very few libraries that met the need of Church Musician.

A year later after prayer and LOTS of lessons learned, I developed my own Library for Kontakt.
And I haven’t stopped since!

I created Wise Sound, to primarily bring the Church musician community the real deal sounds of old in sample format. Specifically the sounds from the time frame of the late 1980s-early 2000s.

Gospel music and it's musicians as of late have been completely transitioning over to software synthesizer sounds. And before I started to develop, the software synthesizer market had very few high quality and ultra expressive, Gospel tailored virtual instruments.

Gospel music has a specific sound and it’s musicians demand only the highest quality expressive sounds to be used in Gospel. Only a handful of developers out there know the sound and deliver it. And with Wise Sounds I hoped to be in that number with the products we have produced!

PS: The website’s background of blue and silver is a homage to the old “VGSoundtrackGuy” and “VGSG Music” logo that had silver metal like lettering with a blue glow!
